Herbert W. Cooper, a graduate of Boston College Law School, joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 1995. Mr. Cooper is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maryland and in the United States District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. His practice includes representation of individuals and businesses in contractual and litigation matters, estate planning, probate, and real estate. Mr. Cooper has graduated from Amherst College, Amherst, Massachusetts with a degree in Physics. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Cooper taught math and science at college preparatory schools in Washington, D.C. and Villars, Switzerland. Mr. Cooper was formerly a member of the technical & research staffs at the Information Systems Division of Technology Research Corp. in Vienna, Virginia. Mr. Cooper is a current member of the Rotary Club of Wellesley and has volunteered as a pro bono asylum attorney for the PAIR Project, a nonprofit assisting bona fide refugees. He participated in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for many years, and currently is a volunteer mediator with the Norfolk County District Court Pretrial Conciliation Program. He is also on the boards of the Granite State Symphony Orchestra and the Friends of Switzerland
Paul Jameson, founder, began practice of law at 8 Grove Street in the late 1950s as a founding member of Dempsey, Jameson, and Locke, and later, was a founder of Jameson, Locke, and Fullerton. Mr. Jameson established the Law Offices of Paul Jameson at the same location in 1986. Mr. Jameson was involved in town, state and national affairs in addition to his practice of law. Mr. Jameson was an active member of the Wellesley Kiwanis Club. Herbert W. Cooper joined Mr. Jameson in 1992 and has continued the firm under the name Law Offices of Jameson & Cooper after Mr. Jameson's early death in 1997.
